Newbie federal agent Charlie Connor falls in love with speakeasy bar owner Elizabeth while Elizabeth’s business partner is secretly working with Charlie’s boss, federal agent Hutchins. Frank wants to flee with Elizabeth, as he has been in love with her for years but power sets into Hutchins’ grip and now he can’t get over it. Charlie puts Elizabeth’s employees at risk, Marjorie and Bucky, when Hutchins’ power-hungry anger gets the best of him. Charlie struggles between being an agent and being in love. Love prevails. |
