Margrette Sinese pays what may be a final visit to her dying father Roman. To atone for his own lapses as a parent Roman forces Margrette to confront the greatest mistake of her past: he demands to see his granddaughter Hope, the child Margtrette gave up for adoption eighteen years earlier. Now Margrette, racing against time, and battling her own demons, sets off to bring her daughter home. But Hope has issues of her own and is not moved by the sudden appearance of the hard-edged stranger who abandoned her in infancy. The trip is not smooth. There is a gun, a sex-crazed Hope, and a rabbit. But in the end, Roman - as his wont - gets his way. |
