This is the story of two young adults Daniel Walker (himself) and Joseph Yates (himself) fighting through depression. They come from different backgrounds from different parts of the world yet have the same solution to their problems, making films. One comes from a tourist town in Florida Daniel Walker (himself) and must move to Alaska with his family in order to find work. While the other is from a small town in southeast Alaska Joseph Yates (himself) and grew up with a skin condition that isolated him from his peers. Through the inter-cutting of their stories they meet and join forces to make films that help them, including this very film as well.
