A gritty, exposed visual poem, set to the not so nice sides of Los Angeles. In a town all about making it, this film examines the toll dreamers often find themselves paying when they first arrive in Hollywood, it asks the questions outsiders often ask, and dares to expose the industry’s true colors. Inspired by mainstream pop culture, lonely visits to tourist attractions, not knowing which way to go, and the death of my grandfather, this short film (a combination of high paced, rapid Spoken Word, juxtaposed on screen text, and intense visuals) is sure to stand out and become one of next season’s festival favorites. |
