OO- is an ultra low budget, surreal digital short film about the intertwined fates of an egg and a young man in mourning. When the eggs own love interest is boiled in the pan the egg becomes suicidal. The two begin to empathize with each-others plight and whilst the leading man shows his caring side by protecting the egg from self harm he is also unknowingly on the cusp of a new relationship with the girl next door. The egg, realizing this, helps the despondent man in a bizarre twist - one final dramatic suicide attempt - where self sacrifice is for the greater good and a new relationship, for one of them is, born. |
