A rugged but magnetic outsider, HENRY, arrives in town at night - his clothes filthy, a duffel bag slung over his shoulder. He soon has a series of seemingly chance encounters with a younger local girl, JENNA, who appears isolated and vulnerable. Jenna is shocked by his moments of barely contained menace but, deprived of attention and care, begins to fall for him. LOVE STORY explores the themes of detachment and dependence, and asks what risks we will take to escape feeling alone. |
