After graduated from California, Yamamoto goes back to Japan. Soon Pacific War begins. Yamamoto is forced to work in the Japanese army. As he can speak English fluently, he is sent to a concentration camp in South Asia to work as a military translator. Yamamoto’s supervisor, Colonel, dislikes Yamamoto and forces Yamamoto to kill prisoners of war who tire to escape. Yamamoto tries to suicide in order to get himself rid of the war. But after Yamamoto meets his best friend in California, Carl, who is captured as a prisoner of war and be sent to the concentration camp, Yamamoto decides to save Carl. At this moment, Americans begin to attack. What is worse, Colonel decides to kill Yamamoto as he thinks Yamamoto betray the motherland. Yamamoto saves Carl from the execution ground and leads Carl to escape from the undergound tunnel, but Yamamoto sacrifices himself to stop pursuers. Finally, Carl escapes from the concentration camp.
