This is the story of 9-year-old Stuart. Well, he’s more like 9 3/4… Yes, 9 3/4 tomorrow, in fact. With the guidance of an omniscient Narrator, in a storybook-come-to-life-type world, we follow Stuart on his journey to find his parents in heaven. While on vacation, Stuart’s parents get into a fatal accident. Unable to fully explain the meaning of death to Stuart, his grandmother simply told him that to find his parents again, he had to look no further than the moon. Later that night, Stuart packs his bags, sets his resolve, and leaves home to walk to the moon and once again be reunited with his parents…no matter how impossible the feat may be.
