Copenhagen, 1932. On a cold December night a piglet arrives to a flat, where the family locks it up and fattens it up. From its little prison room the piglet can spot flats across the courtyard where other Christmas animals are imprisoned just like him. The days pass, and the piglet gets fatter and fatter and more and more lonely. But on Christmas Eve the pig escapes, and with the hungry family on its heels the fight to stay alive and avoid the oven begins. |
