This two hour documentary takes a hard look at Charles Mingus the third, son of the famous jazz musician. Mingus, 66, is an auto-didact, a polymath artist, historian, social commentator, black Jewish playwright, invetor and self describe ‘bum.’ He is also an endless and fascinating talker which makes this an exceptionally interesting film. |
