The title is a word-play on the “check and double check” line from the “Amos ‘n Andy” radio program (and also the title of their 1930 feature film.)Eddie Buzzell (Edward Buzzell) is a broke businessman who intends to marry his stenographer as soon as he gets on his financial feet again.
