‘Road Runners’ is set in the conspiracy thriller/road movie genre. Its protagonist, ex-police officer Sam Stone is dragged into the action by chance but ends up being pursued across the states of New York and Pennsylvania by every law enforcement agency in America. What makes his gut-wrenching predicament unique is that he has a ten year old boy in a coma in the back of his camper van… And next to him in the passenger seat, a hyper-intelligent, brain damaged, mouthy teenager, who has never been outside the hospital he was born in. |
