Details:

Los Angeles radio disc jockey Fred Robbins introduces Charlie Barnet and his Orchestra in this Thrills of Music short from Columbia Pictures (in-house number 6955.) The orchestra, with Barnet on the saxophone, leads off with “Pompton Turnpike.” That is followed with their rendition of “Stormy Weather” with band-singer Jean Louise providing the vocals, and the last song is “Civilization” with Jimmy Brown doing the singing.
