Get Along Little Hubby (1934)

Elmer Tuttle’s life is not made any easier as he has a live-in brother-in-law, Wesley, who heckles him constantly. Elmer’s wife receives a telegram informing her she has just inherited $50,000. Elmer quits his job but his wife puts him to doing all the house work. A second telegram tells Elmer that he is the true beneficiary and he takes over as home-boss until Wesley tells him both wires were fakes from him. And, then, a man shows up with a bug filled with money and tells Elmer he has just won that in the sweepstakes. Elmer thinks it is another one of Wesley’s practical jokes.
