George Mason’s stays at home instead of going to the mines, because he had received a Western Union wire over the phone that the striking miners had agreed to a settlement. He had told his wife and Wayne, his secretary to enjoy themselves and go to the theater. Wayne and Blanche come home and begin to neck before realizing George was still at home and hadn’t returned to the mine. George acts like he wasn’t aware of Blanche and Wayne’s togetherness encounter. |
