During the months leading up to the 2004 Presidential Election, candidate John Kerry and incumbent President George W. Bush fought over the battleground state of Ohio. Shortly before the election a U.S. News and World Report study announced that Ohio, specifically Cleveland, was the most impoverished area in America. Due to the heightened national awareness made of the unemployment rate at the time, it became necessary for both candidates to win Ohio. This film looks at the 30 days leading up to the election in the state of Ohio. |
