It’s February; Elizabeth is keeping a diary. She and her husband Paul are adopting Tommy, a child of one, and she asks Amber, Tommy’s precocious older sister - who’s five or six - to come home with them to help Elizabeth with Tommy and to teach her about babies. Five or six months later, Amber insists on going back to the orphanage. What’s going on; why won’t she stay? |
