confining its curious lens within the familiar device of “a house party”, The Disposable Generation is an exploratory short narrative meandering through a handful of confidently lost gen-y’ers as they navigate their inherited anxieties, their layered philosophies, and ultimately their excuses to carry on as they are. it’s a party where everything that glitters is gold and numbness is a virtue. inside these confines, an apathetic youth favors the modern american dream which doesn’t necessarily involve being awake any more. with an inherently short running time, this ensemble piece aims to present succinct, revelatory anecdotes (and occasional warnings) about generation Y. |
