“Julie let her long hair go, got herself a new Romeo” says one of the guys to the other in “When do the Violins set in?”. Yes, there is cause for concern. Lars’ girlfriend is not only in doubt whether her hair should be long or short, but also whether he is the right one for her or not. What does a young semi-rejected lover do in that situation? He goes to see his best friend, who is not particularly happy with his love life either. When the two of them go to the cinema, fate ties up the threads of the story very happily.
