A 24/7 convenience store, any given night. A noise startles Eva, the night cashier. A customer, Silvestre, lays unconscious on the floor, covered with food and wraps. Eva calls an ambulance. The next night Silvestre comes back to the store. He wasn’t unconscious, he was asleep. Silvestre suffers from a rare illness called Kleine-Levin syndrome, which makes him fall asleep suddenly for periods of 20 hours, and when he wakes up he craves food and sex. |
