Mackenzie Miller is a beautiful and successful woman. She makes her living as a television news anchor. She is searching for Mr. Right and wants to marry and start a family before she is 30. However, she feels that will never happen because of a promise she made to her grandmother on her death bed. That promise was that she would move in with and take care of her seventy-five year old grandfather, to keep him from having to move into a nursing home.
