Gary Bolin is a simple man from rural southern, North Carolina. His whole life has been farming and keeping food on the table for his wife and daughter. When his wife dies of cancer, he is left to raise his daughter, Lindsey. Through the years, Gary and Lindsey are the best of friends. She loves her father. Gary does not want to shield her from slowly learning how to grow into a young woman, but he is still a protective father. Lindsey, now 17, is a Senior in high school. She has developed into a beautiful girl and on the eye of every popular boy in town. Gary begins to see the attention is now diverted to text messages, phone calls, and social media. Worried about the intentions of a new, so called boyfriend, Gary begins to place restrictions on Lindsey’s teenage social life. Feeling the peer pressure of her friends, Lindsey decides to make her own choices; coming and going when she pleases. Gary is now caught between loosing his daughter’s trust and when to step in to protect her from the bad intentions of her so called friends and boyfriend.
