Details:

Documenting the uncomfortable reunion of twins, Oskar and Jack, born in 1933 of a German mother and a Russian-Jewish father; both of whom had been separated and raised in two completely different environments following their parents’ divorce. The infant Oskar was packed off with his mom to Germany, where he was raised as a Hitler youth; and Jack stayed with his dad in Trinidad, where he grew up as a “white boy in a black land.” The latter deeply identified with his father’s Jewish heritage, eventually serving the Israeli army. Oskar, meanwhile rebelled against his strict stepfather by developing Communist sympathies. The twins first met in 1954, when their extreme differences in life proved off-putting; and it would take many years before a true reconciliation would come about
