‘Focal Point’ tells the story of an aspiring documentary filmmaker as she chronicles the tale of a young man who believes that he is destined to save the universe from an unknown fate. When the young man discovers that his destiny is to lead a normal life and not the super hero one that he imaged, the documentary filmmaker is forced to rethink her own destiny. In this self-reflexive satire on the nature of disillusionment, everyone is quick to point out the delusion of others, never wanting to look at their own very human flaws. |
