Details:

With the help of the police, Mr. Gillingwater is trying to stop his daughter Loretta from running off and eloping with her beau, Allan. But an errant golf ball going through his car’s windshield makes Mr. Gillingwater deal with the source of that golf ball first. When he learns that the ball was shot by golf legend Bobby Jones who was trying to find out what was wrong with his brassie, Mr. Gillingwater would rather have an impromptu lesson on playing with the brassie than to chastise Bobby for the errant ball. Bobby shows him the finer points of gripping the club, and proper foot placement to allow for freedom in the hip movement while driving. What Mr. Gillingwater doesn’t know is that Bobby, who is a friend of Allan’s, has ulterior motives in providing the lesson.
