1907, Edwardian East London: a young couple, living a spare existence, struggle to make ends meet. The Man works long hours, and The Girl sits in their one room home, watching the shadows. The walls of this room seem to close in on her until one day she finds a hole in the wall, discovering a mysterious older woman. Spying on her at every opportunity The Girl becomes fascinated by the woman’s sadness. The Girl becomes obsessed with the woman next door, not realising the true extent of the madness that lies on the other side of that hole.
