The villagers of Dolmuji in Hwanghae Province suffer terribly under the cruelty of their oppressors in North Korea. Armed with crude farming implements, they rise up against the heavily armed soldiers. All of the villagers are killed except for an elderly man and a young boy who remain in the empty village to tell the tale. |
