Details:

This is a silent promotional film about bananas, using title cards. It begins in Central America: we watch jungle land turned into a banana plantation, with the first crop cut 15 months after the rain forest is felled. We follow the fruit from plantation to rail car, from train to ship, and from ocean to market. Then the film examines early misinformation about the banana and how it is now a favorite prescription of doctors for tots. It’s easy to digest, has lots of vitamins and minerals (portrayed by animated characters), and provides energy. We see youth at play in sports, thanks to the energy of bananas.
