Log line: Having exhausted all plea and clemency channels, a poor widow takes the governor of California hostage until he grants a stay to her only son who is about to be executed. Imagine a widow who has suffered and sacrificed a lot for her only son who is about to be executed for killing a police officer. Not having enough money to hire a good lawyer Amanda realizes just before the end credits that she has only one option left. The film is inspired by a true life event of Troy Davis who was killed in Atlanta Georgia, September 21, 2011. |
