FORGIVE OUR TAXES: THE VICTIMS is a short documentary about the millions of once successful people who had to sell their homes in the face of foreclosure or lost their jobs or businesses. Then, while struggling, they are hit with a huge tax bill they can’t pay or discharge in a bankruptcy for three years, so they are unable to get back on their feet and start again. It features interviews with three victims about how they got hit with such a tax bill and what they have done to deal with the problem. |
