Life is not much fun for 11 year old Alice, few friends and a lonely existence living with her father she rarely sees she escapes into a world of sci-fi and comics. All that changes when she discovers a man hiding in her father’s garden shed who claims to be from the future. Unwilling to leave the sanctuary the shed provides from the dangers of our world that he doesn’t understand Alice sparks up an unlikely friendship. As she teaches him about the 21st century and encourages him to come out of the shed he helps her find an inner strength that she is lacking. Both become invaluable as her relationship with her father takes an unwanted downturn.
