David Newman is a superstar businessman in a marketing firm and weeks away from a long awaited partnership opportunity and taking over as senior pastor at the church he started with his father over twenty years ago. David is a dedicated professional and man of Christ. But, his life changes significantly when single act of lustful temptation for office co-worker Lisa Pearl contributes to the tragic death of his 12 year old son, Eric.
