Josef “Bunny” Ryan is a well-known retired American basketball player turned businessman whose career is in need of a serious turnaround. He accepts a large fee to become the spokesperson for a Houston oil company. The spotlight feels very different now and Bunny is out of his element. His non-working hours are spent in his hotel occupying himself at the pool, spa and bar where he meets Chloe one night. Twentysomething Chloe is an ambitious and determined up-and-coming marketing manager with no time for a personal life. Bunny and Chloe share a similar dissatisfaction with their lives; the spark has gone out of Bunny’s marriage and he’s become disillusioned with his life choices. Meanwhile, Chloe begins to see herself in Bunny, realizing that life can pass you by before you know it. Bunny and Chloe spend their off time exploring Houston’s strange nightlife and quickly develop a friendship as they both wonder if it might grow into something more.
