Tokei-ihto learns of the murder of the senior chief Tashunka-witko. Tokei-ihto now wants to fulfill his legacy, escaping with the subgroup of his tribe to the fertile areas beyond the Missouri in Canada. While the members of the Bears Clan cross the border, Tokei-ihto encounters Red Fox, his father's murderer.

At Apanatschi's b-day party at the Mac Haller farm, invited are Jeff Brown who is Apanatschi's boyfriend and two neighboring prospectors, Pinky and Sloan. At the party, the two prospectors, learn of the existence of the gold mine, from little Happy, who doesn't yet grasp the concept of gold nuggets. For him they are just rocks and pebbles. After learning of the mine, the two prospectors plan to force Mac Haller to reveal the exact location of the mine. When they are told to leave, the prospectors oblige but secretly plan to ambush Mac Haller or kidnap Apanatschi in order to extract from them the mine's location. Apanatschi is thus forced to seek Winnetou's help. Unfortunately, the prospectors themselves are in trouble when Curly-Bill's gang finds out about the whole scheme and wants a share of the loot.

After having robbed the bank and needlessly shot several town-inhabitants, the gangsters hide out in a mine, taking beautiful Maruja with them as hostage. Although Rocco and Nigros follow different paths (Nigros the money, Rocco justice), they unite to get the money. They hire Esplotion for the explosives. Because Rocco is out of ammunition, he impales one of the gangsters with a wooden stake. A second showdown plays in a barn.

When Sheriff Durango arrives at the McLaine farm, he finds the massacred victims of the robbery. He also finds a pocket watch on the ground, surely belonging to one of the killers. This pocket watch is the only piece of evidence the sheriff has to help him identify and punish the killers.

The scenes of insane church ladies tar and feathering the dance hall girls can not be described. The director attempts to push some Giallo tropes in the movie and it works. Should be watched for the experience.
