While Commissioner Krüger withdraws into the Spreewald like a lonely wolf, Fichte tries to clarify the background of two accidents and the appearance of a gang of rockers. Two people die in quick succession during forestry work and a motorcycle accident. Fichte suspects a connection with the rocker gang „ Die Wölfe " that had just emerged from southern Germany. But he needs Commissioner Krüger for his investigation. But Krüger refuses, he is in a deep crisis of meaning. There is a break between the two investigators. While Fichte, together with the ambitious police candidate Luise Bohn, tries to solve the mysterious deaths, Krüger has gone deep withdrawn the forest.
