Berulfsens pengebinge is a documentary series that deals with the history of money. The series is set up as a journey in the history of money - from simple means of exchange such as stone and cocoa beans to today's "virtual" online money on plastic cards. The series is based on the fact that money is about interaction with political, economic and social history and explains social development. Berulfsen tries to show that money always - even today - concerns absolutely everyone and controls people's lives. The series is divided into topics such as tax, stool, power, stock market, gambling and barter. Historical facts are paralleled with the current situation. |
