Life smiles on Alessandro Scudieri, Vice Quaestor in Naples. Everything changes when he gets involved with his wife Paola in a shootout, where she loses the child they are expecting. Paola discovers that Alessandro was secretly following some investigations and their relationship goes into crisis.
