In the two-hour event, Clooney courses through his life from his early days as Dr. Doug Ross on "ER" to his most recently acclaimed role as Matt King in The Descendants, for which he has just received an Oscar nomination.A triple threat in the industry, Clooney has moved gracefully through various genres from comedy to drama in roles as varied as ER, Out of Sight, Oh, Brother Where Art Thou, The Perfect Storm, Oceans 11 and Michael Clayton. He garnered critical acclaim for his writing and directing talents with movies Good Night, and Good Luck and Ides of March, in which he also played a principal acting role.
