Not unwatchable; kind of had an Asylum-y feel to it, meaning some, but not enough, shark scenes, and a bit too much florid overacting. Characters seem to go from unhinged to lucid in the space of moments, it seems. Hard to really get to like anyone here except the little kid and the two riggers. Everyone else irked me LOL.
With “The Meg 2” coming along soon, we were sure to see some cheap discount shark stuff, I figured from Asylum. “The Black Demon” is made by someone else - but the night is still young. Don’t ever count Asylum out.😉
