This was honestly some great acting on the part of McKay (David Hewlett). Best I’ve seen him do in the series so far. And I really don’t like his character (who does, really?). However, I almost felt sorry for him now.

Let me first say hello Luvlinguae if it’s ok i would like to give you my info on stargate since i own every episode of stargate sg1,Atlantis,and Universe all 3 movies the original with James Spader and Kurt Russell plus the 2 movies from the sg1 series plus the stargate origins that was the very last thing from the stargate universe (so far) origins meant to take place b4 the sg1 series. As a fan of the shows writing and acting i have also followed a few of the actors on to other projects they have done David Hewlett as a few nice movies so does Micheal Shanks plus in season seven of sg1 in an episode called lifeboat i believe Micheal Shanks give a performance that brought tears to my eyes.I would also like to say with respect i don’t agree with greyfur comment about Mckay (David Hewlett) being a Richard in any of the stargate shows. He’s first appearance is in sg-1 helping Samantha Cater (Amanda Tapping) with an issue. If you don’t mind my advice i would say stop Atlantis go to the stargate movie from 1994 with Kurt Russell then hit sg-1 (unless you just can’t get into sg-1 unlikely good show too:) )watch sg-1 after season seven maybe season eight Atlantis start its run good to go back and forth after that for the show work together at this point with each show cast will be showing up on the other show.then hit the two movies that end the sg-1 series pretty good stuff then start stargate universe then check out the stargate little mini series Origins’ Best in this order with Origins last makes it have more of an impact. OH and David Hewlett does another master piece of performance later in series of Atlantis that is an eye wiper too.Hope you found this helpful. :)
