This suffered from some truly awful acting, unfortunately. Some dialogue was difficult to understand; some was just nonsensical. The idea was kind of cool and drew me in; I assumed there’d be decent tension in a story about a person who, while many miles from his home, sees a calamity occurring there through his home-security app but is totally unable to stop it. People in the story make the usual dumb decisions, and yes, there are some glaring plot holes along the way, but I wanted to stick with it to the end. The writers have a little fun with the audience, so it isn’t a complete waste of time. It just could have been a LOT better (especially with better actors.)
