This series gave me a great insight into the republican point of view and the power that television has in shaping all public opinion.

I hadn’t seen the title of episode 2, so it was shocking to view the images again from the point of view of those who were seen as targets at the time. The fear comes across as palpable along with administration’s need to find a guilty party as quickly as possible.

The danger is when the media, or part of the media becomes part of the propaganda machine and there is no questioning of the evidence nor the motives, as we see in the second episode
