I remember watching this when I was young with my mother. I didn’t really like the character of roseanne because I thought she was abrasive and the plot had the character being ‘right’ too often. But my parents liked that character. In this reboot, I do miss the character a little bit. But, I am entertained. Ultimately, the actors behind the characters will pass eventually or become uninterested in playing a part, so I knew change was inevitable. Too bad things occurred the way they did, it does feel a bit like there’s not an axis character to give it a main focus, but I do like the show and I’ll continue watching.
