Outlander S7 E8
Alien : At this point, my butt is really hurting.
From what i can tell, this first season all takes place previous to The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt for PS4..that is the only Witcher game i have played. From what i know, this season basically starts at the very beginning and shows how he met all the people who would come to play important roles in his life, most importantly Yennifer and Cirilla (Ciri) and introduces characters such as Dandelion and Triss Merigold. You can watch this without reading anything and enjoy it immensley as this is VERY well done. Of course, if you have read the books or played a game, you would understand the little things like what is in those potions that Geralt drinks and WHY he drinks them plus, i guess you will just recognize names and places from them..other than that though, you can come into this knowing nothing and still enjoy it. I hope you like it as much as i did! I jsut finished binge watching all 8 episodes and trust me, i am left wanting SO much more LOL!
the timeline jumps were a bit of i would have been totly lost if i didnt play the games and read the books but i love it then again i can see why people who had no previus knowledge of the witcher world dont like it as much a simple “5 years before” “30 after” text could have fixed it with no efort but for book fans this was superb they took story threds from the 2 short story books and minimaly alterd them and made a great adaptation cant wait for future seasons when we get into the meat of the story. ps brokelon forest was the only thing i was disapointed in that was one of my favorite chapters in the books and they changed everything about it that made it great it would have been beter if they removed it totaly then just making their own stuff up
