In hindsight, I’m so glad I cut my internet cable back about a month and a half ago while I was digging a fire pit. We had to wait a week for it to be repaired. That got me to go to the library for DVDs, and the only thing I ended up bringing home was the first two seasons of Longmire. I finished the rest of the seasons once my internet was repaired here on Primewire, Thank you! And, thank you to the moderators that promptly made sure I had every link I requested! I had previously come across some positive reviews, but because I was not really into Westerns, I never checked it out. That is until my trip to the library didn’t really offer anything much else that interested me. I ended up binge-watching it. It’s great story telling, i.e. if you can suspend your dis-belief that a little town has a murder every week to solve, lol. And, I did suspend that dis-belief and found it a really compelling, particularly the coinciding over-arching plot that moves forward tightly and brilliantly, great story telling. So, tonight I ended my journey with Longmire with the finale, but not first without sharing how much I enjoyed the experience from start to finish. Perhaps, someone else will read my comment and give it a chance, too. Btw, I was initially wrong, as it’s not really a Western, though it’s got a cowboy and Indians, lol, as well as, Katee Sackhoff (Formerly known and enjoyed as Starbuck in Battlestar Galatica) Enjoy!
Good bye Walt. Good bye Longmire. It’s been good.
