It released in the US in 1957 as is shown on IMDB and just to clarify this site does NOT exclusively go by US release dates as there are plenty of movies on here that havent been released in the US so that theory is officially debunked. It did release on TV in Germany as “Aufruhr im Mädchenwohnheim” on the 31st of august 1993 but i still fail to see how that is relevant. IMDB says 1957 so this is just plain and simple a typo, nothing more. If you say something about it in the forum’s fix it thread i am confident it will get fixed promptly as we have great mods here! :)
