Although I had seen the series when it was first on, somehow I never saw this movie. Reviewers on IMDB seem to almost universally hate it, but the plot kept me interested throughout. It wasn’t terrible, it was just…quite different…from the original series. There were vibes of Robocop, Demolition Man & others about the story, and a neat musical score by none other than Jan Hammer, which took me back to the Miami Vice days and added a lot of charm to things here. Added bonus points given for the San Antonio locale. Enjoy!
