Bruce Lee had nothing to do with the original show or the idea of creating it despite all the stories you have heard. He co-wrote a movie called ‘Circle of Iron’ and died before filming. Carradine took over his role and the film is now considered a cult classic. https://www.primewire.li/movie/174308-watch-circle-of-iron Somehow that got mixed up with ‘Kung Fu’ and people have believed that Carradine had ‘stolen’ from Lee ever since. I did too until I did some research.
I hate the original but to give it a little credit the show employed lots of Asian-American actors.
no bruce shoped the script and the networks passed then reworked it and gave it to Carradine. look on yt his daughter talks about finding the script and working w writers to modernize it for today. its called warrior….
