First and foremost, a thousand Thank Yous to the uploader! I’ve longed to see this particular documentary since I became aware of its existence about a decade ago but could never find a copy. Everything Simcha Jacobovici does is always mired in controversy but, given the topic and the fact that none other than James Cameron (Titanic, true Lies) produced it, this documentary really put him on the map. The thing I like about Simcha’s work is that he sets aside religious and dogmatic implications and focuses on the facts and historicity of the subjects he’s documenting. But the reason I like him is the same reason he’s so controversial to many individuals and groups. Like all of his work he makes an effort to present both sides of the argument and doesn’t shy away from documenting any resistance he encounters during his investigation of the topic. As presented, the evidence is really compelling and gives you a lot to think about.
