Agreed. Season 6 was a horrible cringe fest. They took the damn Devil of all characters, turned him into a whiny housedad, then sidelined his epic saga and used the season to make political statements. This is LUCIFER ffs, not Captain America. I can’t believe this is what happened to these characters in their final ride. Writing was garbage, storyline was garbage, the acting was questionable, and the ending while nice on paper, was executed in a cringe-inducing manner like the rest of this final season. I been with this show since episode 1 aired and this was a slap in the face. Netflix always has to ruin the essence of shows it picks up, but this was a top tier job. They did some things well, but all in all, the characters got their personalities massacred this season.
Gonna miss this show. And the actors. And I’ll remember it fondly. Just as soon as I purge my memory of what Netflix did to it. It was a fun 7 years or so but I’m glad it’s dead now though. I’ll make sure to think back on the earlier seasons, back when the Devil actually acted the part and made an otherwise mundane buddy cop show interesting.
